Yesterday Saturday, December 17, 2011 Senegalese-American singer Akon disclosed that he has signed Nigerian pop acts Wizkid, 2face, and twin duo Psquare to his Konvict Music label.
Akon revealed this to pressmen at Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha’s CLUB 10 where the unveiling of energy drink Citron took place. Akon is a brand ambassador for the drink.
It can be recalled that the singer had featured on a remix of Wizkid’s ‘Don’t dull’ and was seen with 2face back in June in Atlanta, Georgia.
Akon shared the news on twitter…Meanwhile I saw him today at Paradise Boat club On walter Carrignton where we all went to Ilasa beach 4 fun…nice dude, no celebrity airs around him. He even stopped and greeted our group for about 10mins with his entourage filming everything….Thumbs up to him.
