Gombe State Governor Involved in auto crash

The convoy of Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo was involved in a fatal crash Wednesday night along the Gombe-Yola highway.
The accident reportedly killed one person and left six others wounded.
The convoy was said to be returning to the state capital after the Governor went on an assessment tour of some projects at Shingom Local Government Area.
Sources say a speeding pickup van lost control and rammed into a police van and a Peugeot 406 sedan in Dankwambo’s convoy.
It was gathered that the Governor who was in his car at the time of the incident escaped unhurt.
