Wow Check Out What This Elephant Did To This Car
Sarah Brooks, from Lincolnshire, England, and her boyfriend Jans de Klerk, were filming when the attack happened last week in Kruger National Park in South Africa. They were by a waterhole near Pretoriuskop when the elephant suddenly turned and attacked their vehicle, rolling it three times, and flinging it 40 yards.
Sarah was seriously injured when one of the elephant’s tusks ripped open her thigh, while her boyfriend suffered minor injuries. They were airlifted from the scene and stabilised, then flown to a nearby hospital.
The elephant was later put down and was discovered to have been in musth, a condition that usually affects male elephants once a year when testosterone levels, aggression and sexual activity increase.
