PDP agents refuse to endorse Sokoto State results, as Buhari leads

In Sokoto state, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. General Muhammadu Buhari is cruising to victory in the results so far declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

But the agents of the Peoples Democratic Party have refused to sign the results announced by the Collation Officer, Prof Abdul Bagudu.

The results were announced Sunday night at the INEC Sokoto State Collation Centre for Presidential Election in Sultan Muhammadu Maccido Institute for Kor’ and General Studies, Sokoto.

Though the PDP agents refused to sign, representatives of the Nigerian Security and Civik Defence Corps, collected a copy of the result sheet.

The results announced so far are as follows:

Kware LGA:
APC: 25,286
PDP: 5,339 votes.

Dange Shumi LGA:
APC: 31,036
PDP: 6,918.

Guronyo LGA:
APC: 28,950
PDP: 7,664
