According to unconfirmed reports making rounds online and on social media, the suspected militants allegedly blocked the popular Benin-Lagos expressway this afternoon.
An eyewitness, Ehiwario Jude, who reported the story online said;
“The Self acclaimed militant group mounted a road block stopping vehicles from moving, with the excuse that they are playing football on the road until the government pays them.
The eyewitness however noted that the Nigerian Army later came to intervene and free the road for the frustrated motorists plying the expressway.
