The police man was shot dead by a suspected robber at the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court, South Africa, today.
News24 reports that a witness, who asked not to be named, said the police officer was escorting the suspect to court.
“While making their way up the stairs, the suspect disarmed the officer and shot him,” the witness said.
Emergency services declared the officer dead on the scene.
