Former Big Brother Naija reality TV star, Olurishe Deborah Ebun, popularly known as Debie-Rise, has made a big announcement with regards to her stage name and career.
The singer took to her Instagram page to announce that she has officially changed her professional name from Debie-Rise to Deborah Rise, saying that the change of name was for her, a rebirth of some.
She has also released a gospel song titled “My Choice” which embodies her change and conversion into the Christian faith.
Debie-Rise started off with a video of her cutting her hair. The act of shaving her hair off was meant to be a symbolic representation of change and regeneration. Then, the lady went on to say that she would be making several rounds of announcements.
