Toyin Aimakhu’s Ex, Seun Egbegbe Appears In Court After Spending 20 Months In Jail Over Theft Allegations

Toyin Aimakhu’s ex, Seun Egbegbe will be appearing in court today Monday, November 5, 2018, after spending 20 months Behind bars because of his inability to pay N5M bail fee following the theft allegations that were leveled against him.

Seun Egbegbe, who use to be a filmmaker, was in a relationship with Toyin Aimakhu a few years ago while she was still married her ex-husband, Adeniyi Johnson. The relationship, however, ended in a controversial manner.

Seun Egbegbe allegedly arrested for stealing iPhones

Between 2015 and 2017, Seun Egbegbe and his accomplice Oyekan Ayomide were accused of defrauding and swindling more than 30 some Bureau De Change operators in different operations involving N39,098,100, $90,000 and £12, 550.

The duo was were re-arraigned at the Federal High Court in Lagos on April 3, 2017, for the third time.

The Police re-introduced the names of three other persons as defendants in the case. The defendants include Lawal Kareem, Olalekan Yusuf, and Muyideen Shoyombo.

This is coming on the heels of his previous arraignment before Justice Oluremi Oguntoyinbo of the Federal High Court in Lagos on 40 counts. They were re-arraigned following the amendment of the charges by the Police.
