The Nigerian Army have arrested the wife of a Boko Haram factional leader, Mamman Nur, and her accomplice with a bomb trying to infiltrate a military base in Borno State.
Around 9.30 pm, the Nigerian military troops arrested two teenagers who were on a suicide bombing mission at Mushimari settlement in Konduga local government area of Borno State, while trying to infiltrate the 222 Batallion Defensive Location on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.
One of the girls was strapped with a bomb vest while the other was acting as her accomplice.

According to Ibrahim, The Borno Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), he sent in an NSDCC official who posed as a captured Boko Haram Amir, to interview and interrogate the women.
During the Interrogation, it was revealed that one of the female suicide bombers who was identified as Fatima Muhammed Kabir, is the wife of Mamman Nur, a factional leader of the terrorist group.
Fatima Muhammed Kabir was sent with another woman, Amina Salihu, as an accomplice to the Borno Express Motor Park. Their mission was to carry out an Improvised Explosive Device attack in Maiduguri.
But their mission failed after being captured by the Nigerian Miltary troops.
