Some Lagosian were seen scooping groundnut oil from a dirty gutter in a new disturbing video that is currently trending.
According to reports, on Friday a tanker carrying groundnut oil overturned and spilled the product on the road, then into the gutters in a particular Lagos resident.
The residents, on seeing the amount of groundnut oil that could go waste in the dirty gutters, brought out their containers and began scooping the spilled groundnut oil from the dirty gutter.
In the video, you can see the Lagosians using different containers to scoop the wasted groundnut oil from a dirty gutter.
The disturbing fact is that they’re going to use the groundnut oil to cook something they would eat or sell it in the market to somebody who would use it to cook.
