Nigeria’s number one bestselling author and former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Pastor Reno Omokri has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of lying during the presentation of 2019 budget at the joint session of the national assembly on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.
During the budget presentation, President Buhari was openly booed by some lawmakers when he proposed the N8.83 trillion 2019 budget, while some others were heard shouting “lies!” and “No!” whenever he mentioned some projects he said his government has done in the country. (Read the report HERE).
Meanwhile, Yesterday, December 21, 2018, Pastor Omokri released a report titled, “Debunking The Lies in Buhari’s Budget,”
He also backed his report with a video clip where he claimed that the president Buhari lied on some projects he claimed his administration has completed, especially about completing the Ogwashi-Ukwu Dam in Delta State.
In the video, the area is shown as the site for the claimed dam still remains clearly arid, with no sign of a completed project.
