The kidnappers who abducted Zamfara twin sisters, Hassana and Hussaina, while they were visiting their sister in preparation for their weddings, have finally been arrested by the police.

The teenagers were kidnapped in October 2018, while they were visiting their sister in Dauran village in Zurmi local government area of Zamfara in preparation for their weddings slated for December.

The abductors threatened to kill one of the girls if the N15 million ransom is not paid on time.

Hassana and Hussaina were later released unhurt on Saturday, November 17, 2018, by the kidnappers after the N15million ransom was paid by the family members.

According to a fresh report, suspected kidnappers and armed bandits who were allegedly responsible for the abduction have been arrested and paraded by the Zamfara State police Command.
