Several Nigerians have reportedly died following a tragic event that occurred during the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally of President Muhammadu Buhari at the Ramat Square, Maiduguri, Borno State, on Monday.
Reports say tragedy struck when several men and women, mostly supporters of APC and President Buhari climbed the roofs of pavilions at the venue, in efforts to have a vantage view of speakers at the rally.
Unfortunately, one of the roofs came crashing down on other spectators on the floor killing many and injuring others.

“I understand that the Borno State government, the Red Cross and other aid agencies are taking steps to help affected people. May Allah repose the souls of the deceased and heal the injured.”
