The lawmaker representing Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has revealed why former President Olusegun Obasanjo and President Muhammadu Buhari still exchange pleasantries whenever they meet, despite the fact that the currently antagonizing each other.
In a space of 48 hours, Obasanjo had attacked President Buhari on different occasions, condemning his administration and his re-election bid.
President Buhari himself and the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) had also replied and laid a counter-attack on Obasanjo using harsh words.
However, before the commencement of the National Council of State meeting at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday, President Buhari met with Obasanjo as both can be seen smiling, shaking hands, and exchanging pleasantries. It just seems all was well with both men.
In reaction, Shehu Sani took to his Twitter page to explain that what is binding the two politicians is thicker than “the paste of their politics.”
