This 10 year old boy committed suicide because he was bullied at school

A 10-year-old boy reportedly hanged himself because he was bullied for wearing a colostomy bag.

Seven Bridges from Kentucky made a heartbreaking decision to end his life because he was bullied by his school mates. His mother, Tami Charles, found her son hanged on Saturday.

Seven had to wear a colostomy bag because of health issues. The kid underwent 26 surgeries since he was born. Other children at Seven’s school often made jokes about him because he was not like the rest of them.

A colostomy bag is a small, waterproof pouch used to collect waste from the body. This procedure is carried out in the treatment of conditions involving damage to the colon or large intestine.

The desperate mother addressed the school administration several times, but without avail. Jefferson County Public Schools Communications Director, Renee Murphy, commented on the tragedy:

We found that the school system had a lot of holes and a lot of inconsistencies with their policies about bullying.

Seven’s mother said:

He just wanted to be normal, that’s all.

May his soul rest in the Lord’s bossom.
