Nigerian music star, Burna Boy pulled out all the stops for his first Valentine’s Day with his new love interest, Stefflon Don and we are so loving it because it shows things are getting serious.
A few days ago, Burna Boy sparked dating rumor with the 27-year-old British rapper after sharing a video of himself shirtless cuddling Stefflon Don who was fast asleep. Stefflon later confirmed their new relationship that same day that they are actually an item.
So naturally, the new lovebirds would not give an excuse of not spending the most romantic day of the year together.
Stefflon Don took to her Instagram page and shared series of videos from her Valentine’s Day surprises from Burna Boy.
In the video, the UK rapper is seen sitting on the sofa surrounded by dozens of red roses and is visibly overwhelmed as a group of men dressed like Mexican performers serenade her with romantic love songs.
Blown away by her beau’s heartwarming gesture, Steff said: ‘This guy… awwww. Omg I’m not used to these type of things [sic].’
On a dining table, the Ye singer had left handwritten notes for Steff, each affectionately describing her as his favourite foods. One read: ‘My rice, peas and plantain,’ while others included strawberry and nutella, tiramisu, ‘my assorted biscuit’, and even, my oxtail. Burna’s got quite the appetite.
He also wrote on one card: ‘I swear to never EVER hurt you,’ an unintentional pun on the title of her breakout single, Hurtin’ Me. His words clearly worked their magic on Steff, who captioned the sweet image: ‘I love him.’
Returning the favour, Stefflon splashed out on a Dior gift for Burna, who said: ‘My first Valentines I ever got. Thank u baby,’ although he left his followers in suspense over what the present was.
