R&B Legend, R.Kelly has secured his freedom after receiving an anonymous donation from someone who cleared the $161,000 he owed in child support to his ex-wife and their three children.

R.Kelly had a court hearing after being arrested over failure to pay the $161,633 he owes his ex-wife, Andrea Kelly, for child support on Wednesday, March 6, 2019.

The music star who is currently facing the boycott movement (#MuteRKelly) over multiple sexual abuse allegations, was struggling to clear the child support debt because the boycott movement affected his income from music and his finances have not been bright either.

The judge in his child support case insisted three days before getting out of jail that he must pay all the monies owed to his ex and children because R.Kelly had offered to pay only $60,000.

However, the 52-year-old musician was let go from jail early in the morning on Saturday, March 9, 2019, after an unidentified person cleared his $161,633 child support dept.

Some reporters were positioned outside the Chicago’s Cook County Jail as he got released for the second occasion within a month and he reportedly told them his challenges would soon go away.

“I promise you, we’re going to straighten all this stuff out. That’s all I can say right now. I promise you,” CNN gathered in a statement the singer made.

According to Steve Greenberg who is R Kelly’s lawyer, his client is expected back in court on Wednesday, March 13, in respect in the child support case.

After this, there is another court date 9 days later for the allegation of sexual abuse against underage girls.
