The former minister of aviation, Femi Fani Kayode (FFK) has said the Igbo tribe are the most vilified, humiliated, persecuted and genocidal in Nigeria.
Speaking through his Twitter handle, Fani Kayode noted that other tribes in the country have also had their own share of the suffering in the country.
He, however, praised the Igbos for not bowing, tremble and surrender or abandon their culture despite these challenges. He wrote:
“No tribe in Nigeria has been subjected to as much villification, humiliation, persecution and genocide as the Igbo. Other tribes have suffered as well but unlike them the Igbos have refused to bow, tremble and surrender or abandon their culture, identity, heritage and faith.”
