Regina Daniels’ husband, Prince Chinedu (Ned) Nwoko has received a certificate of return to the House of Senates as Senator-elect.
The lawyer and businessman received the certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) amidst jubilation by hundreds of his supporters who thronged the INEC premises.
The ceremony was in line with an Abuja Federal High Court judgement which nullified the election of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi and declared Prince Ned Nwoko winner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Delta North senatorial primary.
The lawyer and businessman would be representing the Anioma people in the Northern part of Delta state.
Ned has been a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives between 1999 and 2003, he represented Aniocha North-South and Oshimili North-South.
The billionaire took to his Instagram page to congratulate himself. He wrote:
“A Big Congratulations to Senator Elect Hon. Dr. Prince Ned Munir Nwoko who is to represent The Anioma People (Delta North) in the 9th Assembly of the red chambers.
“Congratulations to you Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko as you are being issued with certificate of return as Senator Elect.”
