The lawmaker representing Akwa Ibom North-East at the National Assembly, Senator Bassey Albert Akpan might have gotten himself in trouble following an accusation of brutally ‘beating up’ his cook.
In a video published on Social Media, the injured cook is seen accusing Senator Albert of beating him up and threatening to kill him.
According to the cook, the senator and some of his staff beat him up with Machetes adding that Mr. Albert stepped on his chest during the assault.
The cook, who claims he is from Cotonou, said that he has worked for Senator Albert for 7 years but the lawmaker is owing him 6 months Salary.
