Wizkid Has Accomplished Way More Than Akon, He Is Nobodies ‘Lil Bro’ – M.I Abaga

Despite the continuous attack by social media users over his infamous tweet, popular Nigerian rapper, M.I Abaga insists Wizkid has achieved more for African music than Akon.

KanyiDaily had earlier reported that M.I Abaga came under heavy fire for attacking Akon who called Wizkid his ‘little brother‘.

M.I’s comment generated a lot of controversy and backlash on Twitter with many people criticizing him for his ‘unpleasant reaction’.

According to popular opinions, Akon was well within his rights to refer to Wizkid as his ‘lil bro’ because he was older than him by age and even in his achievement as a musician.

MI Abaga has refused to back down on his opinion despite the attack he has been receiving from internet users.

In a fresh tweet, the gifted rapper went on to say that Wizkid has overcome “larger obstacles to accomplish way more” that Akon.

“I have an opinion: few African artists in diaspora actually did anything to REALLY help the movement.. as a fan of Wizkid (which I am) I don’t see Wiz as lil bro to Akon.. he has overcome larger obstacles to accomplish way more (in my eyes).. In my opinion Wiz is lil bro to none.”
