President Buhari Pronounces Coronavirus As ‘Covikk One Nine Virus’ While Addressing Nigerians [Video]

President Muhammad Buhari has finally addressed Nigerians in a television broadcast over the scourge of Coronavirus COVID-19.

KanyiDaily recalls that the Senate had charged the president to give an update on what his government was doing to address the issue of Coronavirus, following criticism by Nigerians.

Shortly after the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the 30th case of the disease in Nigeria, Buhari finally gave a short address to Nigerians about COVID-19.

In the 23 seconds video posted on Twitter by Bashir Ahmad, his Personal Assistant on New Media, President Buhari said he’s working with the Ministry of Health to protect Nigerians.

“We are working with Federal Ministry of Health on protecting our citizens from covikk one nine virus (COVID-19) as a government, this is now a key priority for us”. — President Buhari on coronavirus pandemic. #COVID19Nigeria.”
