Coronavirus: Chinese Government Donate Locally Made Medical Kits To Nigeria Healthcare Workers
The Chinese Government has donated locally made medical kits to Nigerian healthcare workers to help in the fight against coronavirus.
The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, made this known on his twitter page on Tuesday. He wrote:
“@NigeriaGov is thankful for robust support from multilateral & bilateral partners like @UN_Nigeria who offered prompt support and @China_Emb_NG who donated locally-sourced PPEs & medical supplies to help protect healthcare workers on the frontlines of #COVID19 response.”

Meanwhile, a Chinese Billionaire and founder of Alibaba Group, Jack Ma, had also donated medical supplies to 54 African countries including Nigeria.
The medical supplies finally arrived Nigeria on Tuesday, and it includes 5.4 million face masks, 1.08 million detection tests, 40,000 sets of protective clothing and 60,000 sets of protective face shields.
