Controversial Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has backtracked on her earlier report which suggests the death of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Olunloyo had on Tuesday night suggested that Kanu died in Italy, and he’s already being impersonated by a body double as Nnamdi of Sudan.
The journalist, however, said she would investigate and unveil the secrets behind the rumours surrounding the death of the IPOB leader.
On her Twitter page on Wednesday morning, Olunloyo said she investigated Kanu’s death all night, and found out that he is alive and well.
According to her, Kanu’s close friends, including former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode confirmed that the IPOB leader is alive, and was never in Italy let alone hospitalized.
“#BREAKING After investigating all night, I am letting everyone know that Nnamdi Kanu is ALIVE and well. He was NEVER in Italy let alone hospitalized. I also spoke to close friends of Kanu including my brother @realFFK who confirmed the same and has spoken to Mazi Kanu #Kemitalks” she wrote.

This is coming amid 2017 controversy when Nnamdi Kanu told his followers that the real President Muhammadu Buhari that was elected in 2015, had died during one of his medical trips to London.
Kanu said the current Nigerian President had been replaced with one Jubril Aminu Al-Sudani from Sudan who was trained by Buhari’s handlers to take his place and act like him.
