Nigerians have taken to social media to demand justice for Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, who was punished by the Lagos State Government for throwing a house birthday party for her husband, JJC Skillz.
KanyiDaily had reported that Funke and JJC were arrested, tried and sentenced to 14 days community service and fined N100,000 each for flouting the government’s order on social gathering which was meant to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Following the televised burial of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, Nigerians are demanding justice for Funke and her husband, whom they think were unjustly treated for the same violation of social distacing.
