The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 338 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infection in the country to 5,929.
In a tweet on its official Twitter handle on Sunday night, the NCDC said Lagos recorded 177 new cases of the disease, while Kano confirmed 64 cases.
Other regions with new cases include the FCT with 21, Rivers with 16, Plateau with 14, Oyo 11, Katsina nine, Jigawa and Kaduna with four each, and three cases from the trio of Abia, Bauchi, and Borno.
Gombe, Akwa Ibom, and Delta states also recorded two new cases each, while Kebbi and Sokoto shared two cases between them.
The number of discharged patients increased from 1,472 to 1,594, while fatalities increased from 179 to 182.
