Nollywood actress, Kemi Lala Akindoju has debunked the sad news circulating the social media about the passing of veteran actor, Olu Jacobs.
Reports from some quarters had indicated that Olu Jacob died of heart attack, and the rumours went viral especially on Twitter Tuesday night.
However, Lala took to her Twitter page to warn those spreading “fake news” to desist, noting that she spoke to the actor some few hours ago. She said:
“Uncle Olu Jacobs is alive and well. Very much so. I just got off the phone with him. Please stop spreading fake news,” she wrote.
Olu Jacobs, who will be 78 next month, is married to another legendary Nollywood star, Joke Silva.
