“Those Who Say The Loudest Amen Don’t Get The Fastest Answer” – Reno Omokri Advices Pastors

Amazon Best Selling author, Reno Omokri has urged pastors to desist from telling their congregation that their Amen isn’t loud enough for God answer their prayers.

In a series of posts shared on his Twitter page, Omokri said faith is what gets God to answer ones prayers, not the volume of amen said.

He noted that those who say the loudest Amen don’t get the fastest answer, adding that God doesn’t like noise which is why he believes prayers said in silence can still be answered.

The former presidential aide made several biblical reference and then advised Pastors to raise the faith of their congregation and not their voice. He tweeted:

“Dear Pastor, those who say the loudest amen don’t get the fastest answer. God does not look at volume of prayer. He looks at volume of faith. Stop telling your congregation their amen isn’t loud enough for God. Raise their faith, not their voice!

“The fastest prayer ever answered was by the woman with the issue of blood. She did not speak. She did not say amen. “she said WITHIN HERSELF, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole”-Matt 9:21. God is looking for loud faith, not loud amen!

“God does not like NOISE. He likes POISE. When you pray, don’t shout. You can even pray in your heart like the woman with the issue of blood or Hannah. Christ shouted at Lazarus because he was dead. Your God is NOT dead. You don’t need to shout at Him.

“Christ didn’t say shouting moves mountain. He said “if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will; nothing will be impossible for you”-Matthew 17:20. Mustard seed is the smallest of seeds

“Hannah did not shout during prayer. Scripture says “Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard”-1 Sam 1:13. Do you know those who shouted during prayer? It was the prophets of Baal in 1 Kings 18:26.

Meanwhile, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy has said that anybody who believes in Jesus Christ shouldn’t be afraid of touching coronavirus patients.
