EBONYI: Governor Umahi, Daughter And Aides Recovers From Coronavirus

Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi has recovered from coronavirus after testing negative to the disease.

The governor who confirmed this in a statement he personally signed on Friday, revealed that his daughter and three of his close aides who also contracted the virus have now tested negative.

Umahi who thanked the people of the state for their prayers and support, also appreciated God for his recovery which comes four weeks after he was infected by COVID-19.

KanyiDaily recalls that Governor Umahi had tested positive on July 4, 2020, prompting him to leave his deputy, Kelechi Igwe, in charge of the coordination of the state’s COVID-19 response.
