American Rapper, Cardi B Expresses Love And Concern For Nigeria Amid #EndSARS Protest

American Rapper, Cardi B has expressed love and concern over what is happening in Nigeria in regard to the #EndSARS protests across the nation.

There is an ongoing three days #EndSARS protest across the country against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigerian Police Force over brutality, illegal arrest, extortion, extra-judicial killings, among others.

A twitter user identified as @AsiwajuLerry had begged Cardi B to use her platform to reach a wider audience and the international community about the #ENDSARS Protest which is gaining momentum each passing day.

He wrote: “Madam @iamcardib, trump is not your only problem. Your beloved Nigeria is currently in a state of pandemonium. We are not safe!!

“If you’ve ever loved this country, please help use your platform to create more awareness for us. Enough is enough! #EndSarsProtests #EndSARSNow!!”

In a swift reply, the mother-of-one who expressed her love for Nigeria, enquired for more information on the matter, promising to research on it later.

“What’s going ? Can you give me a summary so I can research later ….you know I love Nigeria,” she said.

This is not the first time the rapper has expressed her love for Nigeria.

KanyiDaily recalls that following her visit to the nation in December 2019, Cardi B expressed her interest in relocating and becoming a citizen of Nigeria which she compared to the Dominican Republic, her father’s home country.
