Hacktivist, Anonymous Hacks Twitter Account Of Nigeria’s National Broadcasting Commission

A popular hacktivist group, Anonymous, has hacked the Twitter account of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) in an apparent move support for the ongoing protests against the extrajudicial activities of the now-defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

KanyiDaily had reported that there is an ongoing #EndSARS protest across the country against the SARS tactical unit of the Nigerian Police Force over its brutality, illegal arrest, extortion, extra-judicial killings, among others.

In a series of tweets on Friday morning via the NBC Twitter handle, the hacktivist group said they are out to disclose the secrets of the Nigerian Government and also asked Nigerians to pick the government websites they would want to get hacked.

This is coming 24 hours after Anonymous successfully hacked Nigerian police website and released many informations including names, addresses, emails and bank accounts of SARS police officers across the country.
