Popular Fuji Musician, KWAM1 Wasiu Ayinde Accused Of Beating Up Broadcaster In Ogun

Popular Nigerian Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as K1 De Ultimate has been accused of allegedly assaulting a broadcaster, Wole Sorunke, in Ogun State.

Sorunke popularly known as MC Murphy was allegedly beaten black and blue by KWAM 1 and his boys on Thursday night at the 60th birthday party of the Olu of Itori, Oba Abdulfatai Akamo, in the Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun.

Both Ayinde and Murphy were invited to the party to perform as musician and compere respectively before the musician allegedly disrupted the party, which had some prominent persons in attendance.

Speaking with newsmen on Friday,  MC Muphy stated that he was beaten blue-black after he had taken someone to the stage to be praised by Kwam 1.

The MC said that despite ignoring him and his client as they left the stage, the musician pounced on him with the aids of some of his boys, who were identified as KC and Gaji, where he was sitting.

The fuji star, who holds the chieftaincy title, ‘Mayegun of Yorubaland‘ was said to have apologized after the show, but MC Murphy insisted that he did not want the incident to be swept under the carpet.

Meanwhile, KWAM 1’s media manager, Kunle Rasheed, has denied the allegations. Rasheed added that his boss had no involvement in any violence that occurred at the event.
