Denise Bidot, a model and girlfriend of popular American rapper Lil Wayne, has reportedly dumped him over his endorsement of President Donald Trump ahead of the 2020 presidential election in the United States.
Lil Wayne and Bidot are known for displaying their relationship publicly via Instagram, but it’s unclear how long the two were actually together.
Last month, Lil Wayne shared an image of himself meeting Trump while praising the president for his work on criminal justice reform, saying the Platinum Plan to benefit black Americans ‘is going to give the community real ownership’.
“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done,” he captioned the Twitter post.
Lil Wayne’s endorsed Trump’s re-election, did not only made him lose a ton of fans, he also lost his Dominican girlfriend, Denise Bidot, who is a supporter of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
One of the model’s friend explained to MTO News, “[Denise] was shocked when she saw Wayne come out with Trump. She’s so disappointed in him.”
The friend continued on Tuesday, “She broke up with Wayne. It wasn’t just his Trump support, but that was a big part.”
Over the weekend, Bidot took to her since-deleted Instagram account to post, “Sometimes love just isn’t enough [HEARTBROKEN EMOJI]”.
Bidot, who has apparently deleted her Instagram account, supposedly unfollowed Wayne before the rumored split. The rapper unfollowed her on the social media platform as well.
