Former YBNL signee, Davolee has sparked controversy on the social media after he called his former label boss, Olamide, a mad man.
The outburst happened on Tuesday after @MTV Base West tweeted their #BaseTop5 #YBNLRaised playlist which featured Olamide alongside a couple of past and present YBNL artists.
The playlist featured a bonus track “Festival Bar” from Devolee, amongst other dope songs from Lil Kesh, Chinko Ekun, Adekunle Gold
In a swift reply, Davolee made a tweet to MTV Base informing them not to include his name in anything that has to do with Olamide.
“With all due respect… if yOu want to talk or play a DAVOLEE, just do it.. don’t even attach or disrespect me again. Thanks,” he wrote.

A lot of upcoming artists are looking for that opportunity Olamide gave Davolee and now that same Davolee opened his big mouth to call OLAMIDE mad!!! If not for Olamide who Davolee help. We listened to your songs because of Olamide. Respect he who raised you when no one did.

I want to believe that Davolee didn’t just tweet that Olamide is mad, because that’s like the best way to go from “Up-and-coming” to Unknown.

Til tomorrow, Lil kesh, AG, Chinko and co will forever be grateful for the part Olamide played in their career. But one ungrateful boy that he uplifted from the trenches said he’s mad?? Who be davolee if no be for Olamide

Olamide didn't give us fantastic hits, fantastic artists for him to be disrespected by a low budget downcoming artist called davolee, the only good thing about davolee is his pepper and e no even ripe.

This is coming just three months after another former YNBL signee, Temmie Ovwasa popularly known as YBNL Princess, called out Olamide on social media, accusing him of destroying her music career for five years.
