The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has begged to Boko Haram not to kill Pastor Bulus Yikura who was abducted last year in Borno State.
Pastor Yikura was abducted on Christmas evening last year when Boko Haram attacked Pemi village in Chibok Local Government Area of Borno.
In a short video released on February 24, 2021, Pastor Yikura called on the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), President Muhammadu Buhari and the governor of Borno to help to secure his release.
The cleric said the terrorist gave him a one-week ultimatum and threatened to kill him on the 3rd March, if their ransom demands are not met.
Taking to his Twitter page over the weekend, Apostle Suleman pleaded with the insurgents to spare Yikura’s life, adding that Christians are not the insurgents’ enemies.
