Nigerian Twitter Influencer, Tunde Commits Suicide After Tweeting “I Need Money Like Mad”
A Nigerian Twitter influencer simply identified as Tunde has reportedly committed suicide after crying out that he need financial help.
Tunde was said to have killed himself barely 24 hours after seeking for financial help via his Twitter page on Tuesday.
“I need money like mad, Jesus,” he had written in a terse post which has over 2,000 likes and more than 900 retweets as of the time of this report.
His friends on Twitter alleged that Tunde battled depression due to lack of money before taking his own life on Wednesday.
Nigerians have taken to social media to mourn the young man, with many users stressing the need for people to always check on their friends, and for depressed individuals to speak up.
This is so heartbreaking. Men go through a lot of pain and unfortunately we internalize the struggles so we don’t bother others. We need to open up and hear each other out more often and help where we can.
Rest In Peace Tunde (Tuneri) and may God have mercy on your soul. 💔🙏🏾— ✨👑 DaddyMO👑✨✊🏾 (@therealdaddymo1) March 11, 2021
The death of Tuneri is just another day to put this here again… How guys really really need to start uplifting each other because we are all we've got!!! I mean how Tunde tweeted he needed money yet no help came through. Sad!

Going through tunde’s TL, while he was in need badly, he was still praying and encouraging other people in the same situation. Rest well tunde.

People only pretend to care when you are dead, no one pays attention when you need help.

A lot of people are going through a lot these days . Kind words will do a lot to temper pitiable situations . We should endeavor to reach out . RIP #Tunde @Tuneri__

No offence bah but people are quite hypocritical. Dude killed himself because he needed money, I'm sure he has guys who could wrap up 100-200k for him or his close follower's but no, it's now that he's dead, they are saying 'Tunde No'
No what exactly.
Do better abeg.— Fejiro • Lagos based chef • Extraordinaire (@chef_fej) March 11, 2021
Omo, seems Tunde was an amazing guy going by all the tributes
It's not a time for think pieces
Let's pray for his family and loved ones at this very difficult time. 😢
Rest well big man

Tunde committed Suicide due to Depression, its beyond Wicked & Insensitive to use his name to trend your Business tbh. You can always talk about your business but leave a Dead Person out of it 👌

RIP To Tunde. This depression of a thing is real and it can result to anything if care is not taken or expectations are not met. I’m also in this state honestly but mine is not directly related to money.

We all keep saying suicide isn’t an option Buh treat people like it’s an option.
Suicide doesn’t end the chances of life getting worse, it eliminates the possibility of it ever getting any better.

Rip Tunde…
Please, encouraging people not to commit suicide is something, let them know they'll loose an opportunity to be better and again suicide is a pathway to hell, the thought of going to hell after suffering on Earth again 💔…#saynotosuicide
It's so painful 😢😢😭😭.— 🇳🇬🇳🇬 001 of Nigeria 🇳🇬🇳🇬 (@Oladunmoye_) March 11, 2021
In 2017 I almost took my own life, tunde was one of the people that checked on me.
2021, he’s dead!
Sigh! I wish he could’ve used the strength he gave me on that day.— 🌸 Orgasm.NG 🌸 |#EndSars (@orgasmdotng) March 11, 2021
Honestly for a guy to survive this period, he needs to be able to open up to either his parents, his friends or his woman, sadly nobody listens until they can’t take it anymore and go.
