A Nollywood actor, Baba Ijesha, was seen in a viral video confessing and begging for forgiveness after CCTV caught him molesting a 14-year-old girl, who happens to be the foster daughter of Popular comedian, Princess.
KanyiDaily recalls that Baba Ijesha, a 48-year-old Yoruba actor, was arrested last Thursday for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl since the past 7 years.
Princess had narrated how she caught Baba Ijesha red-handed on CCTV camera molesting her foster child, who is now 14 years old, after the little girl opened up to her what the actor did to her seven years ago.
However, a senior officer at the Lagos State Police Command confirmed that a directive had been given for the release of Baba Ijesha from custody on Friday.
The police said investigation into the recent allegation against Baba Ijesha revealed that he did not defile the victim, adding that when she was questioned, the victim confirmed the same.
Reacting to the police report on Thursday, Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo released the confession video of Baba Ijesha on her Instagram page.
In the video, Baba Ijesha was seen confessing and begging Princess for forgiveness after he was allegedly caught sexually molesting her 14-year-old daughter.
When the comedienne asked why he did what he is accused of after all she had done for him, the embattled man blamed it on the devil.
Sharing the video on her page, Ojo Iyabo wrote: “Baba Ijesha’s confession after being caught red handed on CCTV sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl. Be human and let your conscience be pricked.”
