Nigerian Army are reportedly raiding hotels arresting and killing students of Imo State University (IMSU) whom they labeled as members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
According to social media reports, the soldiers have been invading the hotels since on Friday, picking unsuspecting students whom they label as IPOB members.
Some social media users alleged that the military raided a lodge in Owerri and killed over 10 IMSU students for unknown reasons.
A video trending on Twitter shows a woman crying after her 24-year-old son, who is a 200 level student in IMSU, was reportedly killed.
IMSU is currently conducting exams. Students of the institution have asked that the exams be postponed due to insecurity in the state.
