Over two thousand pastors have stormed Ebonyi State to pray and fast for the state governor, David Umahi, over the high rate of the insecurity ravaging the country.

It was learnt that the one-week fasting and prayers is organized by the Ebonyi State Government in conjunction with the state chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

The clergymen offered fervent prayers to God to arrest every criminal behind the insecurity in every part of the country.

They also asked God to give the leadership of the country the wisdom to tackle the challenges of insecurity.
