“16 In Lagos, 16 In Yobe” – Nigeria Confirms 48 New COVID-19 Cases As Total Hits 166,730

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 48 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 166,730.

The NCDC made this known on Friday night via its official Twitter handle where it disclosed that the new cases were recorded in 9 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to the new report, Lagos state led with 16 new infections, followed by Yobe – with 16, Kano-8, Gombe-3, Akwa Ibom-1, Delta-1, FCT-1, Kaduna-1 and Rivers-1.
