A video circulating online shows a Nigerian girl identified as Chinwendu Ngolo confessing that her mother allegedly gave her rat poison to put in her father’s food in Ehime Mbano, Imo state.

In the video shared on Facebook by Ikwumelezeh Testimony James, the girl could be seen tied up as she confesses to trying to kill her father in a plot masterminded by her mother.

The little girl said she did as instructed by putting the rat poison in her father’s food, but she told him about her mother’s plan before serving him the food.

Upon being questioned, the girl’s mother denied the allegation that she was trying to kill her husband, claiming she doesn’t even know where her daughter got the rat poison.

Sharing the video, Ikwumelezeh Testimony James wrote: ‘‘For those who don’t understand Igbo!

In case you’ve not heard “her mother gave her rat poison to put inside her Father’s food. The poor lil girl did as her mum ordered. Buh she did one thing extra. She told her Dad that her mother ordered her to do so before she now served him the food. When they asked the lil girl why did you tell your dad that you put rat poison inside his food, she said” I love my Dad. Marriage is getting scaring by the day.”
