Valentine Ozigbo, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the ongoing Anambra governorship election, has cast his vote at Social Centre, Amaesi Ward of Aguata LGA.
Ozigbo, who exercised his constitutional right on voting on Saturday morning, lauded the turnout of voters, although he raised concern about the delay in the voting process.
The PDP candidates said, “I’m impressed. If not for the delay, everything has been perfect. The network failed and we had to improvise.”
“I’m still monitoring the situation of things elsewhere. I urge people to come out and vote. Get up from your bed. Let’s go out and do our civic duty.”
Ozigbo called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to consider extending voting time considering the delay.
KanyiDaily had also reported that Governor Willie Obiano and his wife, Ebelechukwu Obiano have cast their ballot in the ongoing Anambra election.
