An armed group known as the Angry Vipers has threatened to kill South-East leaders if Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is not released within 21 days.

In a video sighted by KanyiDaily, the Angry Vipers said they would declare all Igbo governors, senators, and politicians dead if Kanu is not released within the given day.

The group also asked traditional rulers in the region to ensure the release of the IPOB leader and make sure that Fulani’s vacate the South-East.

A voice speaking in the video said: “We The angry Viper has noticed that Southeast governors, Senators, local government Chairman have concluded to play pranks with the lives of youths of the Eastern region.

“We, hereby, give you 21 days ultimatum to ensure that Nnamdi Kanu is released unconditionally and resigns from the opposition without further delays. Failure to do so, we shall have no other option than to declare you wanted, dead.

“All kings and chiefs who have decided to reduce themselves to used sanitary pads and all themselves to be toiled about with by uncircumcised Fulanis due to your idiocy and bribery; we the Angry Vipers are giving you 21 days to leave our land unless Nnamdi Kanu is released.”

This comes barely 24 hours after Nnamdi Kanu was remanded in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) after Federal High Court in Abuja adjourned his trial till January 19, 2022.
