NYSC Corp Members Seen Taking Self Defence Lessons At Orientation Camps [Video]

Members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) were seen undergoing self-defense training exercises at various orientation camps across the country.

In a series of videos making the rounds on social media, the corp members at different localities were seen taking self defence classes on the instruction of fellow corpers or security agents.

The clips have sparked reactions from Nigerians on social media especially as it is coming at a time that people are harping on the need for countries to equip their citizens with basic defence skills.

KanyiDaily recalls that NYSC DG, Brig. Gen Shuaibu Ibrahim has said that corps members can be mobilized for war if the need arises because they are part of the national defence policy of Nigeria.
