Ronald Fenty, the father of Barbadian singer, Rihanna, has reacted to the pregnancy news of his daughter who has been dating American rapper, ASAP Rocky.
KanyiDaily recalls that Rihanna had earlier shown off her bare growing baby bump during a recent outing with ASAP Rocky in Harlem, the rapper’s hometown in New York.
In viral photos, the singer could be seen wearing a bright pink coat, which she wore open from just below her breasts, showing off a several-months-along pregnant belly.
Speaking from his home in Barbados, Ronald Renty exclusively told The Sun that his 33-year-old daughter informed him about the pregnancy on Sunday night.
Fenty, who expressed his excitement over the news, said he’s sure Rihanna will be “a good mom,” now that she’s starting a family of her own at just the right age.
He said, “I’m ecstatic. To be honest I only found out yesterday but for the last five years, everybody was saying she was pregnant all the time.
“She called me and said she had some good news for me and I automatically knew what it was. I think this is a good time, she doesn’t want to wait until she’s in her 40s. If you want to bake a good cake you’ve got to have fresh eggs.
“Rihanna is very protective of her brothers, nephews and all kids, she will be a great mother. It will come naturally to her. I already have two grandsons so I would like a granddaughter this time.
“Since the news was announced I’ve been bombarded by phone calls from friends and relatives, everyone is very happy.”
KanyiDaily recalls that in 2019, Rihanna filed a $75 million lawsuit against her father, Ronald Fenty, for exploiting her name to try and get rich.
