Legendary Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, has commissioned a multimillion naira studio he built for the music department of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).
The 46-year-old singer disclosed this in a video shared on his Instagram page where he showed the launching of the ultra-modern recording studio.
In the video, 2Face could be seen interacting with officials and students of the varsity inside the studio while appreciating the management of the institution for inducting him into its school of music.
The musician, who also shared a picture of himself and OAU’s vice-chancellor, Eyitope Ogunbodede, revealed that the next tertiary institution he would open another studio would be at the Benue State University.
He wrote: “Sometimes ago, I was honoured by the Great OAU as I was inducted into the school of music as a fellow of the school of music.
“Today, I just commissioned the multimillion naira studio I built for the music department in OAU ile-ife. Up next is Benue State University.”
KanyiDaily recalls that 2Face Idibia had slammed Nigerian religious leaders for not preaching the truth, being greedy and milking the innocent people in the country.
