‘Dancing’ Security Guards Sacked By Chicken Republic Gets New Job From Politician

Ovie Success, the Special Assistant to Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has offered a new job to the two security guards who were sacked by popular eatery, Chicken Republic, for dancing at their duty post in Aba, Abia State.

Chicken Republic Sacks ‘Dancing’ Security Guards

KanyiDaily had published a video showing the two security guards dancing at the entrance door while carrying out their job effortlessly before the customers who were enjoying their meals.

It was gathered that the owner of the restaurant who was in Canada came across the video and ordered that the two young men should be sacked so he won’t see them on camera again.

In another video, the two security officers that were sacked disclosed that the management of Chicken Republic has refused to pay them their February salary and ignored their calls when they reached out.

The two security officers, who could be seen stranded outside the building of their workplace with new replacements already doing their job, said they worked work more than a month before their dismissal, but their ex-employer refused to pay their salary.

Sacked Security Guards Get New Job Offer

In a post shared on his Facebook page, Governor Okowa’s aide, Ossai slammed Chicken Republic for sacking to boys instead of promoting them for the free publicity and attention they brought to the brand with their dance.

Ossai announced his intention of helping the duo by imploring everyone on social media to help establish their whereabouts so that he would employ that at Delta state media agency.

He wrote, “I have a job for them at Delta First Media. I heard they were sacked by Chicken Republic fast food because they were dancing on duty.

“They actually succeeded in bringing more customers to the Chicken republic with their dancing video but with the sack, Chicken Republic fast food just succeeded in losing more customers.

“We are leaving in an era of social media and those guys should be appreciated by Chicken Republic fast food for free promotion not sack.

“Please if you can reach them, tell them I have a Job for them at Delta First Media Asaba. Let’s spread love, don’t let people lose their job because the country hard. Please share the video.”
