Veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo has taken to social media to place a curse on the person spreading rumours of his death.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, the 60-year-old actor revealed that someone took his pictures and put “RIP” on them then shared online, causing people to believe that he was dead.
Kanayo noted that his life has never been in anybody’s hands and those who compiled obituary pictures for him will will “not live past the next 7 days.”
He said: “I don’t know what people gain by carrying out rumours, printing their own obituary. I don’t know what will make somebody wake up in the morning and start tagging somebody.
“Do most people think that Nollywood actors and entertainers do not have families:? I mean what kind of life do they think we live? Somebody wakes up, complies three, four, five pictures and puts RIP? You will not live past the next seven days.
“You’ve got the wrong guy, my life has been in anybody’s hands. I want to thank all my friends who have called since morning. I am hail and hearty, I don’t even have fever. Whoever has compiled these pictures published his own obituary seven days you’ll exit this world.”
Sharing the video, Kanayo wrote: “you think because you have access to the social media, you can publish ANYTHING. Adeiu to you.”
