Nigerian soldiers have intercepted a vehicle allegedly conveying the sum of N100million cash and other items to bandits wreaking havoc in the country.
In the video published by SaharaReporters, a soldier was heard saying the huge sum of money was found in the vehicle registered in Kano with ‘FGE-959TC’.
The money was packed inside disposable boxes and covered with loads of food supplies including cartons of noodles and crates of egg in order not to raise questions.
Pointing to the boot of the red car, a soldier said in pidgin, “All na money, them they carry am go give bandits, even this bag here, all na money, see this Indomie (noodles) carton, na money full am.
“Na money full the whole motor, N100 million ooo. (It’s all money that is inside. It is being taken to bandits as a ransom for kidnapped victims. These cartons of noodles are full of money; N100 million).”
The location where the video was shot is yet unknown at the time of filing this report.
This comes barely two days after bandits killed 11 Nigerian soldiers during an attack on a military base in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
