Buhari Directs Ministers With Presidential Ambition, Others To Resign

The president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has ordered all ministers with presidential ambition to resign with immediate effect.

The President made this affirmation on Wednesday during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

He went on to urge those with other ambitions or contesting for various offices to resign also.

Following this declaration, the minister of state for petroleum, Timipre Sylva, the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, the Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajuiba, the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and so on are expected to step down in no time.

Kanyi Daily also recalls that former president, Olusegun Obasanjo recently outlined reasons for the emergence of a president from the South Eastern region of the country come 2023.
